Garden Project at Folks Farm (Coming Summer 2022)
We are collaborating with Folk’s Farm in Fort Collins to provide hands on learning opportunities about sustainable and regenerative gardening practices. With the ability to learn self sustainability we hope to inspire care for out planet.
Bird Banding
We practice bird identification for common species, and observe behaviors of birds on the feeders. We discuss how this data can be used to inform species and population conservation over time.
Our program teaches basic bird identification skills, how to hold birds, basic note taking, monitoring methods, basic binocular use, and more.
Our team members work with care to band the birds and allow the students to look and even get hands-on time.
